First of all, what is rebuilding? What is renovation?
What is rebuilding?
This means demolishing the original house from the foundation down and building a new house in the same place. At Kobako, we mainly build custom homes, and we work with our customers to plan the floor plan from scratch, aiming to create the ideal home design.
What is renovation?
It involves changing the layout to accommodate changes in family structure and lifestyle, and adding new added value beyond the original (newly constructed) performance of the building through earthquake reinforcement, insulation renovation, etc. Leaving the existing foundation in place and demolishing the structure (framework) to the extent that it is visible, and then recreating the entire layout and interior design is called skeleton renovation, while renovating only the first floor is called zone renovation.
